Reece Smith of Northwest Missouri won the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase title in 8:33.64, eclipsing the meet record at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Smith ascended to the No. 4 competitor in division history, along with finishing 13th in the 5,000-meter final in 14:18.97.
